My mother gave me her 1961 St. Joseph's Daily Missal for Christmas! It's even got "of blessed Joseph her spouse and" written in the margin of page 675. It's beautiful, and it will come in handy in the future, I'm sure. Thanks, mom.
I still have the Communion Missal given to me in 1966 at my first Holy Communion. Despite my many years thinking the Church was false, I never could part with it and kept it with me all these years. I am now so happy to have it, and wonder what my life would have been like had I really believed that Christ was truly present in the Eucharist as I we must have been taught, though I cant rember back 4 decades now.
